"The risk for a photographer is to overlook the truth. The truth is where risk begins."

In profile, with his glasses resting above his eyebrows, yet looking directly at the viewer. The present self-portrait of the photographer is definitely unusual. We know him as young and dynamic: he usually presents himself as someone with ease, charm and wit. Here he appears wise and scholarly. He looks at us gracefully, the lights in his pupils appearing as tears in his eyes. In the lenses of his trademark horn-rimmed glasses we can see the reflection of the camera and the studio light.
