TAPESTRY SUITE OF FURNITURE,

Louis XV, signed J.B. BOULARD (Jean Baptiste Boulard, maître 1755), Paris ca. 1760.
Comprising: 1 associated canapé "à oreilles" and 6 large fauteuils "à la reine". Molded beech, exquisitely carved with flowers, leaves and decorative frieze, and painted gray. Padded armrests. Gros- and Petit Point cover featuring mythological figures, village views with human figures, birds and tendrils, in very good condition. Decorative bullen nails. Slight differences in the fauteuils.
Canapé 185x86x46x106 cm. Fauteuils 69x56x46x95 cm.
