CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CASKET,

Moscow 1908-17. Maker's mark GS (cyrillic) Grigorij Michailowitsch Sbitnjew
Worked on all sides in cloisonné enamel. The cover decorated with an enamel depiction of the Russian fairy tale of Ivan Tsarevich and the grey wolf. The depiction of the same name by Viktor Vasnetsov probably served as the model.
