LAPISLAZULI AND DIAMOND VANITY CASE, BY CARTIER, ca. 1920.

Yellow gold 750 and platinum, 180g.
Rectangular lapislazuli box with rounded corners, hinges and clasp set with rose-cut diamonds in platinum mounts, opening to reveal a mirror, 2 compartments with cover and lipstick-holder, numbered 7307. Signed Cartier Paris, no. 7307. French gold marks and maker's marks "SMA". Minimal traces of use. Ca. 8,3 x 5,8 x 1,5 cm.
