The Village Ferry. Etching in the style of Pieter Brueghel. 1649.
Etching on wove paper with watermark, probably cap and bells (hardly legible).
19.1 x 27.3 cm.
Parthey 1219; Turner (New Hollstein 1040 I (of III, in front of the address of Meyssens). - Excellent print with edging, the upper edge with a fine margin around the framing line, the right and left margin, in part with the framing line or trimmed up to or within the framing line. Slightly stained, overall in very good condition.
Also included: Three further engravings by Wenzel HOLLAR.
