A SIDEBOARD "AUX PATTES DE LION",

Consulat, signed JACOB FRERES RUE MESLEE (collaboration between François Honoré Georges Jacob-Desmalter and Georges II Jacob between 1796 and 1803), Paris c. 1800.
Flame mahogany carved with winged paw feet. The front with wide door and blind door front, flanked by 1 narrow door. The interior with 3 drawers "à l'anglaise". Exceptionally fine matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. "Vert de mer" marble top.
117x52x110.5 cm.
