BOULLE CLOCK,

Regence, the dial and movement signed COULON A PARIS (Nicolas Henri Coullon, maître 1735), Paris, ca. 1740.
Curved wooden case, applied with inlaid, engraved brass leaves and tendrils on brown tortoiseshell. Opulent bronze mounts. The top decorated with the figure of Hebe and Jupiter as an eagle. Gilt bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell.
