The Sacrifice of Abraham.
Etching on laid paper with watermark: seven-pointed cap and bells.
Engraved signature and date at the lower right edge: Rembrandt f. 1655.
15.6 x 13.1 cm.

Bartsch 35; Nowell-Usticke 35 I (of I); Hinterding/Rutgers (New Hollstein) 287 I (of I). - Strong, clear and even impression with small margin (approx. 3 mm) around the platemark. Recto partially with slight browning, two subtle stains below the left arm. Verso somewhat heavier browning and with several small restorations, probably backing of thin areas and small holes, some slightly standing out as white spots verso. Overall in good condition.
