PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK WITH PENDULUM,

Meissen, late 19th century.
Opulently decorated porcelain clock, the top featuring Zeus with an eagle, the base depicting Chronos being tied up by Hephaistos. Relief-decorated dial with enamel cartouches. Parisian movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Curved plinth with rocaille feet. Underglaze blue sword marks.
