Louis XVI, Paris ca. 1770. The dial signed LEROY À PARIS.
Matte and polished gilt bronze. Cartouche-shaped case, decorated with a vase and ram heads, and with laurel garlands. White enamel dial. Parisian movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Dial with chips and cracks. Movement requires servicing. Also included: BAROMETER of nearly identical shape; however, a 20th century copy.
