Silver bromide gelatin print fix mounted on firm paper. Vintages. Each approx. 9.5 x 6.5 to 15 x 21 cm. Album 24.5 x 33 cm. [11] sheet supports, [1] sheet printed legend. Original cardboard cover with cord tie and gold-stamped cover title, the back cover with gold-stamped photographer's stamp "Fr. Schmelhaus. Zürich-Pfauen".
With portraits of ETH employees and rooms of the chemistry department, as well as exterior views of the main building.
Interior: The prints mostly with slight oxidation mirroring, individual prints slightly yellowed, cardboard supports with areas of slight foxing. The cover slightly rubbed and bumped at the edges. Overall in very good condition.
