DIAMOND NECKLACE/BRACELET, ca. 1880.

Silver and pink gold, 30g.
Rivière necklace, designed as a line of 80 circular-cut diamonds totalling ca. 18.00 ct, centering upon 1 oval old-cut diamond of ca. 4.50 ct, ca. J-K/SI1. Rectangular clasp, enhanced with 6 diamonds weighing ca. 0.20 ct. L ca. 42,5 cm. The front part of the necklace converts into a bracelet, L ca. 20 cm.

With case and verbal short test for the central diamond by GGTL, September 2021.

Provenance: H.E. Clara, Baroness of Leonrod, née Sazenhofen.
Born in 1870, Baroness of Sazenhof was the daughter of the Royal Adjutant General and General of the Cavalry, Maximilian, Baron of Sazenhof.
In 1905 she married Wilhelm, Baron of Leonrod (1865-1943), Personal Adjutant to King Ludwig of Bavaria, from 1912 he was Senior Stable Master and from 1915 "Obersthofmeister" to the King. H.E. Clara was Royal Lady-in-Waiting at the court of King Ludwig III of Bavaria. Family-owned to this day.
