An engraving by an anonymous engraver made from this watercolour went into the work "Der Wanderer in der Schweiz" (Maehly & Schabitz Basel, plate D 21), created between 1835 and 1841. - The Prussian Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm, his father Friedrich Wilhelm III, as well as the Russian Tsar Nikolaus acquired works by Meyer, who was highly valued by his contemporaries for his landscapes.
