Minerva, rare split second Chronograph, 1940s.

Stainless steel.
Oversize case in 3 parts, case no. 19XX "Staybrite", with fixed lugs. Black dial with Arabic luminous numerals. Cathedral hands with luminous material. Minute sub-dial at 3h, small second at 9h. Large, manually-wound flyback chronograph movement no. 10XX, cal. Valjoux 55. Compensation balance wheel with Breguet hairspring (revision recommended). D 44 mm.

This timepiece is an impressive example of the early military chronographs, and stands out especially due to its characteristic black dial. The case is unpolished and still features its original contours and edges.
