COMMODE

Rococo, Italy, Naples ca. 1740/50.
Walnut burlwood, purpleheart and tulipwood, inlaid as stars in reserves. Convex body with curved legs in sabots. Front with two drawers (bottom replaced). "Brocatello di Siena" marble top (repaired). 1 key.
147 x 67 x 96 cm.

Various losses in the veneer, and missing parts. Conservation restorations. Requires some restoration.
