England, 18th century. The dial signed: James Clowes Londini fecit.
Brass, in part pierced and engraved. Rectangular, enclosed case, on spherical feet. Belfry with pierced decorations. Engraved dial with slightly protruding chapter ring. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Winding mechanism with endless pins and chain. 1 key.
