(Partly hand-coloured) daguerreotypes.
Half plate; octagonal (4) and round windows (1) approx. 9.5 × 7 cm (visible dimension); overall dimension each 15 × 12.5 cm.
1 print verso hand dated "17 Juin 1847". This print in wood frame of the period.
Provenance:
- Meyer collection, Zurich.
- Private collection, Switzerland.
Old framings partly fragmentarily preserved, mostly probably opened or partly restored. The plates partly tarnished or oxidised at the edges, partly slightly scratched, 2 plates slightly rust-stained. The mats partly slightly spotted, 1 with a small colour defect. However, overall in good condition.
