Half plate; window approx. 7 × 9 cm (visible dimension); overall dimension 12.5 × 15 cm.
Inscribed by an old hand on the frame. Gold frame 20 × 22.5 cm.
Provenance:
- Meyer collection, Zurich.
- Private collection, Switzerland.
The Rietmann family originally came from St. Gallen.
Plate slightly oxidised in the edges, slightly spotted, possibly bathed, old frame partly slightly torn or loosened, possibly opened, verso missing part in the frame, the mat partly slightly rubbed, frame with small losses (partly overpainted). Overall in good condition.
