Verso with mounted photographer's label with address "Rue Montesquieu, 6". Under velvet mat, framed (23.5 × 19 cm).

TOGETHER WITH: LEGRAND & GUIRAUD (XIX). Portrait of an elderly lady, c. 1854. Daguerreotype. Quarter plate; oval wiondow approx. 9 × 7.5 cm (visible measurements). Overall dimension 18 × 13 cm. Verso with mounted photographer's label with address "Rue Monthelon, N. 27". Wood frame of the period with floral brass ornamentation.
Oxidised at the edges, more pronounced in parts, somewhat stained, dusty glass, frame backing partly torn or loose. The additional work probably opened and bathed, slightly scratched and bumped at the upper left.
