Lot 2851* - A195 Wristwatches & Pocketwatches - Wednesday, 02. December 2020, 11.00 AM
Patek Philippe, very rare and attractive "Perpetual Calendar", 1992.
This model by Patek Philippe is one of the great design classics and stands out by its timeless elegance. The case has some signs of use, but the case hallmarks are clearly visible. At the time, the reference 3940 was the flattest perpetual calendar available. The excerpt from the Archives confirms that the watch was manufactured in 1992 and sold in June 1992. While the watch was being serviced at Patek Philippe in 1998, the dial was changed from the original version to the German version.
