This object contains material of endangered species and is subject to certain trade restrictions. Prospective buyers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import it into another country.

This model by Patek Philippe is one of the great design classics and stands out by its timeless elegance. The case has some signs of use, but the case hallmarks are clearly visible. At the time, the reference 3940 was the flattest perpetual calendar available. The excerpt from the Archives confirms that the watch was manufactured in 1992 and sold in June 1992. While the watch was being serviced at Patek Philippe in 1998, the dial was changed from the original version to the German version.
