With 1 engraved frontispiece (together with the rare explanation sheet by Diderot), 1 folding engraved tree diagram, 2,832 (of 3,129; of which 302 double-page and 19 multiple folding) copperplate engravings and 7 folding tables.

Folio. Contemporary mottled calf with 2 labels on spine, gilt edges and richly gilt spine (extremities of spine and edges somewhat rubbed).
