SMALL TOWER CLOCK / HOUSE CLOCK
Switzerland or Southern Germany, 18th century.
Iron. Open movement, with flat iron bands, the corners ending in scrolls. Movement and two striking mechanisms arranged one behind the other, the striking mechanism with verge escapement and foliot. Striking the 1/4-hour on two bells. Later, painted dial, decorated with rocaille on a red ground.
