ONE-HANDED TOWER CLOCK / HOUSE CLOCK
Switzerland or Germany, mid-17th century.
Open case, with flat iron bands, the corners ending in scrolls. Movement with verge escapement and foliot, and striking mechanism for striking the hour on bell, arranged one behind the other. Dial painted with a winged angel head.
