PENDULE WITH CARILLON,

Louis XVI, Neuchâtel ca. 1760.
Curved wooden case, decorated with red-dyed tortoiseshell. Opulent gilt bronze mounts, designed as garlands, bows, vases, flowers and scrolled leaves. White enamel dial. Movement with verge escapement, striking the full hour and the 1/4-hour on 2 bells. Repetition, striking the 1/4-hour on 3 bells. At the full hour, a carillon with 11 bells and 10 melodies is activated. 2 keys.
40 x 15.5 x 81 cm.
