"RUBY", DIAMOND AND GOLD WRISTWATCH, BY UNIVERSAL, ca. 1940.

Pink gold 750, 36g.
Rectangular case, signed Universal Genève, no. 15838, French marks and maker's marks LB. Asymmetrical lugs, one a large ring motif, decorated with synthetic ruby baguettes, 1 small missing, the other of geometric design and enhanced with brilliant-cut diamonds. Manual winding, form movement, signed Tudor, probably replaced later. On a gold snake chain bracelet, French marks. L ca. 16,5 cm.
