IOLITE, SAPPHIRE, RUBY, EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH, ca. 1980.

Yellow gold 750 and white gold 570, 34g.
Designed as a kingfisher on a flower branch, the head and the tail feathers decorated with diamonds, the belly set with 1 florally carved iolite, painted in blue, and decorated with sapphires weighing ca. 1.20 ct, the flowers and leaves set with 2 carved rubies and 2 emeralds totalling ca. 3.30 ct, 1 ruby navette as eye. Total weight of diamonds ca. 1.80 ct. L ca. 6 cm.
