Longines, rare, original Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch, 1938.

Stainless steel.
Ref. 3210. Oversized, four-part case no. 54978XX, with rotating bezel lined with blue and black enamel. Case cover with Staybrite hinges. Fine dial with white enamel chapter ring, black Roman numerals and blue 180 degree numerals. The central, rotating dial is silver-plated. Precision manually-wound movement no. 54978XX, cal. 18.69N, rhodium-plated and decorated with Geneva stripes. Screw balance wheel with Breguet hairspring, and special eccentric fine-regulator. D 47.5 mm.
The watch is in exceptionally good condition.

With an excerpt from the Longines Archives, confirming the sale of the watch on 3 September 1938 to the company Arudt & Cohn. At the time, this company was the importer and agent for Longines in Germany.
