BILL HOOK

Swiss, 2nd quarter of the 17th century, Lucerne, 3rd model. So-called "Schwendtgertel".
Rectangular blade, in the style of a full single-edged blade, ending in a small tip and a bow-shaped hook. Marks: a T-shaped mark between two small spheres, and "L" for Lucerne. Short rounded socket. Original blackened round shaft, punched owner's mark "LUZERN" (Lucerne Armoury Collection).
L 162 cm.
