HELBARD

Swiss, last third of the 17th century. So-called "Sempacher helbard", Bernese-Neuchâtel version.
Blade-shaped tip, diamond section, square reinforcement towards the tip. Blade with convex edge, beak-shaped hook. Square parrying spike, one spike missing. Two long langets. Octagonal shaft.
L 206 cm.

Provenance:
- Collection M. Sigrist, Lucerne.

Rare type of Sempacher helbard.
