TWO CELESTIAL WARRIORS.
China, 19th c. or earlier, height ca. 38 cm.
Clay with polychrome paint. One riding a horse, the other one riding a dog. Backside with remains of plaster.
Provenance: Swiss private collection. Recovered by the consignor in the 1970s as an old temple near Taipei was demolished to make way for a road.
關羽和劉備泥塑像。
中國，高約 38 厘米。
彩繪粘土。 關羽騎白龍馬，劉備騎的盧馬。 背面有石膏殘留。輕微修復。
出處：瑞士私人收藏。 1970年代台北附近一座古廟被拆除後恢復。
