APOLLO MOON PHOTO
NASA, red stamp
Vintage chromogenic print on Kodak paper
Framed with museum Glass
Provenance: Swiss private collection
The photos taken during Buzz Aldrin's and Neil Armstrong's 21 hour and 36 minutes stay on the moon are of amazing quality. The fact is that Neil Armstrong used his Hasselblad camera to capture the victory in the race for the moon for eternity. Since Neil Armstrong took on the role of the photographer during the Apollo 11 mission, he can hardly be seen in the pictures of the mission. In this photo, you can see him very small - reflected in the visor of Aldrin.
Presented here is arguably one of the most important photographs in human history. The early red stamp edtion rarely comes to market.
