Signed and dated in the plate at lower edge: Rembrandt f. 1641. Old number in brown pen upper right: 26.

Bartsch 226; Nowell-Usticke 226; Hinterding/Rutgers (New Hollstein) 198. - Excellent, strong, even and clear impression. Mostly trimmed to the platemark, visible in places. The paper with uniform slight browning and with subtle stains mainly in the right half of the image. Light signs of ageing and wear. Verso with some remnants from previous mounting. Overall in good condition.
