Wallpaper pattern of satyrs and nymphs: 1. left half (satyrs on the left); 2. right half (satyrs on the right). Probably after designs by ALBRECHT DÜRER.
Two woodcuts on handmade paper, one of them with watermark: Large snake with letters W attached.
54.5 x 33 cm and 53.8 x 32.8 cm.

A19 and A20 each II of II (on light ground). - No.1 A fine impression, predominantly strong and slightly weaker in places, with small margin around the image. Joined at the central fold with old backing there from the reverse. Individual restored areas of damage in the margins. - No. 2 An excellent, deep black, predominantly even and clear impression with small margins around the image. The upper right corner supplemented. Various professional restorations, including the lower left corner and the left arm of the seated woman at the right margin. Restored tear at upper right margin and upper margin. All in all good overall impression despite the aforementioned defects. - Of great rarity.
