CAPITAL ON COLUMN
Late Romanesque, 13th/14th century.
Sandstone carved in half relief. Square outline, tapering towards the bottom and ending in a round shape. Circumferential depictions of the Flight into Egypt, the Adoration of the Magi, and probably the Killing of the Children of Bethlehem. On top, a frieze depicting a hunt. The corners originally with scrolled leaves (fragmentary). Round column with cylindrical shaft and profiled base.
Capital: 44 × 42 × 33 cm. Column: H ca. 138 cm.
Weathered.
