SEPULCHRAL STELE
Roman, 1st century A.D.
Marble carved in bas-relief. Depiction of a couple with a dog, flanked by a god (probably Apollo, with a stringed instrument and a wreath in his hands). Below the upper image, traces of an old inscription. Mounted on a yellow marble base.
28 × 48 cm. H with base 60 cm.
Heavily worn. Weathered.
