The painting offered here can be traced back to the famous composition 'La Muta' by Raphael, which is in the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche in Urbino (inv. no. DE 237).
Oil on panel, slightly curved. Verso with two horizontal wooden battens. Paint surface well preserved with slight superficial soiling. Small traces of scratching are visible in the lower area. Colour abrasions along the edges.Under UV: Some small retouchings visible on the figure and in the background. Varnish fluoresces irregularly greenish.Overall condition good.Frame dimensions:****
