MULTIGEM AND DIAMOND NECKLACE/BRACELET, BY VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, ca. 1950.

Yellow gold 750, 110g.
Model "Zip". The necklace designed as a yellow gold zipper, decorated with heart motifs of twisted gold wire, set with rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds, the zipper slider of a gold tassel, set with gemstones and diamonds. The upper part of the necklace may be removed and the necklace 'zipped' to form a bracelet. Total weight of rubies and sapphires ca. 9.90 ct, of emeralds ca. 1.40 ct and of diamonds ca. 1.50 ct. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels no. 69990. L ca. 39 cm, as bracelet ca. 18 cm.
