Louis XVI, the model by F. VION (François Vion, 1764 Paris c. 1800), the dial and movement signed POCHON A PARIS (Jean Charles Pochon, maître c. 1770), Paris c. 1770.
Matte and polished gilt bronze and "Carrara" marble. Enamel dial. 2 fine, pierced gilt hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell.
27x15x42 cm, H with plinth 45.5 cm.
