Probably work of the Pechersky Monastery . Parcel gilt.
H 3 cm. D 12 cm. 130 g.

Provenance:
- Christie's auction, London, 9.6.2009, Lot 232.
- European private collection.



The encircling inscription on the frieze shows that this charka is probably a silversmith work made in the Pechersky Monastery near Pskov. It states: "Charka of the Pechersky Monastery made during the tenure of the archimandrite Paisius".
