Louis XV, France, 18th century. Dial and movement signed Viger à Angers.
Curved case, painted later with flowers on a red ground. Bronze mounts designed as rocailles, leaf tendrils and trailing flowers as well as a dragon. Relief-decorated bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. 1 key.
