Louis XVI, signed C. CHEVEGNY (Claude Chevegny, maître ca.1768), Paris ca. 1770.
Beech, fluted and finely carved with cartouches, rosettes and decorative frieze, and painted gray/blue. Striped, blue silk cover with a floral pattern. Cushion. Paintwork restored.
