PAIR OF 'LITRON' CUPS AND SAUCERS WITH BIRD VIGNETTES,
Paris, Nast à Paris, ca. 1840.
Painted with fine bird vignettes, the French names for the birds featured in black on the base: Le drongo, Loriot, Le Bouvreuil, Perdrip de mer. Marked 'Nast' and 'Nast à Paris' in iron red. Incised marks R on the cups.
H 6 cm, D saucer 12.5 cm. Small hairline crack. (4)
