- TROMPE DE CHASSE/HUNTING HORN IN D, France c. 1900. Signed ROBERT MARTIN MACON. Brass. 2 rings for attaching a standard. Mouthpiece missing. - CLAIRON CHASSEUR/HUNTING SIGNAL HORN IN D, Paris, c. 1883. Produced by François Millerau. Brass. Engraved inscription MILLERAU BREVETÉ FOURNISSEUR DU CONSERVATOIRE DE PARIS MÉDAILLES D'OR D'ARGENT, DIPLÔMES D'HONNEUR, 66, RUE D'ANGOUÊLME PARIS.
L 57 and 52 cm.

The rings for the attachment of a standard in the Trompe de Chasse suggest that this rare horn was probably used for ceremonial hunting events.

- Both with light dents.
