PAIR OF LARGE NODDING PAGODAS,

Meissen, model by J.J. Kändler ca. 1757, modern molding, after 1948.
The heads and hands formed separately, mounted so as to be movable. Comprising a female and a male Chinese figure, painted with Indian flowers, accentuated in gold. Underglaze blue sword marks on the back and on the head. Model numbers 67883 and 67877, impressed marks.
H 31 cm.
