A HEXAGONAL TABLE CLOCK,

Southern Germany, probably Nuremberg c. 1700. The movement signed BIELL.
Brass and bronze engraved with laurel garland and flowers. The dial with engraved tendrils and number ring with Roman hour numerals. The base hinged with 2 bells. Movement with spindle escapement and with quarter hour striking on 2 bells. Repetition on demand. The movement, dial and case of the same period, but later associated. 2 balusters on underside missing. Supplements. 1 hand missing. Restoration required.
