THREE KABUKI COLOR WOODCUTS BY UTAGAWA KUNIYOSHI (1797–1861) AND A SHINI-E.

Oban, 1845-1854.
a) The Kabuki actor Nakamura Utaemon IV as Kasuga no negi (the Shinto priest of Kasuga) from the play Yoshitsune zenbonsakura, Yoshimura and Muramatsu censor seal. b) Three actors representing different social classes, the sheet Shinôkôshô no uchi. Hama, Magomi censor seal. c) Chikugo province: Saki no Iyo no jô Sumitomo of the series Dai Nihon rokujûyoshû no uchi (The 60 odd provinces of Japan), Watari censor seal. Signature: Ichiyûsai Kuniyoshi ga, Kiri seal. d) Shini-e commemorating the death of Ichikawa Danjûrô VIII (1823-1854), unknown artist, dated 1854. (4)
