LARGE LIDDED TANKARD WITH A BACCHANAL SCENE

Germany, ca. 1880.
Ivory, carved in high relief and in part all around. Walls and hinged lid, decorated with Bacchanal scenes. Handle, designed as a young woman.
H 45 cm.
