Woodcut on laid paper with watermark: tall crown (fragmented).
Monogrammed and dated in the wood block top right.
12.6 x 9.8 cm. Framed.

Bartsch 18; Meder 188 II (probably a of c); Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 188. - Very attractive, deep black impression, probably re-blackened in a few parts such as around the head of Adam and Eve and the head of the angel. Predominantly with fine margin around the framing line. Verso slight residue of old mount. Overall in good condition.
