Bartsch 21; Lehrs 9; Falk/Hirthe 9. – Schongauer’s rare and magnificent work with larger, professional restorations from the late 19th or early 20th century. Verso fully backed with Japan paper. The top margin (approx. 2 cm) newly applied and supplemented with pen. Further image areas with supplements, blackening, closed tears, wrinkling and rubbing.
Despite the stated defects, still good overall impression.
